The Chiefs need someone calling the plays that has an idea of what should be the next call. I'm talking about any decent former QB that called his own plays. Play designers are not on the field seeing the results of the last play and cannot see the developing tendencies of the defense. The delay in seing the weakness gives the defensive "eyes in the sky the chance to get it corrected before they get burned.
