Micah Downs, the 14th ranked HS player in the nation, intends to declare for the NBA draft. He hasn't notified KU yet and doesn't have an agent. I haven't notified him yet that I don't give a shit.

I doubt he goes lottery. Late second round maybe, but if that happens, he'll still head to KU.

Yeah he is being careful not to forfeit his eligibility. But he sounds more like MU material to me. I don't want that type of "student".

seriously though... who WOULDNT want to come play hoops at KU under Bill Self? It really doesnt matter, honestly... we will be fine without him.

Alright so regardless of whether he plays a year at KU or not, we now know that it's the $$$ that he's after. There's not anything wrong with that I would want to cash in too but ya gotta wonder if he's going to play for the name on the front of the jersey or the name on the back.

I'm afraid that's the way it is with 99% of today's atheletes.

He will end up at KU, he's not ready for the NBA yet. He will not go 1st round, IMHO.

And, I suppose if tomorrow you got an offer for more money elsewhere, you'd turn it down out of loyalty to the rockin'est station in Quincy Illinois?

The Wolfman would never leave station XERB !!
