OK, the sad news is I coming up for a funeral, my uncle died and we had gotten pretty close after my dad died in 1977.

Now, my wife ( Carrie ) and I are going to be available for a New Years party if anybody is having one or know of a good place to be at . :hmmm:

Heh heh. Yeah, it's gonna be a great party. It starts with about 20 family members, the bulk of whom are all incredibly religious. So, if you don't mind prayer, hymns, and foot washing, feel free to stop by. You may wish to bring a bible and something soft to kneel upon. I doubt we'll have any alcohol or even much time for eating, so this may not be the party for you....

I dunno. I haven't seen any snake handling, but I don't really go to their church but about once every 2 or 3 years. Maybe they don't bring out the snakes for me.

I'll bet you any amount of money straight up with paddles. I'll beat you, take your money, beat you left handed, and then decide which household utensile I can use to further humiliate you. I'm guessing you fall somewhere between a paint stir stick and a pipe cleaner.

Heh - we really do have a lot of family coming in town. Give me a call when you get settled in, I'll see if we can't work something in on Thursday. Most of the family arrives Friday.

FWIW, Condelences for your uncle.

You might wanna bring your sticks. It's supposed to be really nice here for the rest of the week.

Damn, better than the 16" of snow we have here.

BTW, I have only played once since we did in the fall. Right now I will have to skip the golf, my knee is giving me the fits, they took me of the Bextra ( similar to Vixox, celebrex, etc.) for a month, just now starting new medication to be able to move.

They have me on Neurontin,Daypro, and Loritabs. I'm on my 2nd day and it's just now starting to ease some of the pain.

FWIW, I would love to play a round, III is staying home ! :hmmm:
