instead of winning 4/5...they'd have the 2nd pick in the draft! I predicted when they were 3-8 that they'd end up either 7-9 or 8-8 just to screw up their draft position! :banghead:

I wouldn't trade the sweep of the Raiders or the thrashing of the Donks for any draft position.

Carl would have never got the #2 pick overall signed before he retires!

Has anyone fathomed the thought that if the Chiefs had ended 3-13 (losing 7 or 8 in a row), that Roaf and Shields might have retired?

Roy is right. Playing to lose for high draft picks is a losers mentality. The mighty Orange have only had 2 top ten picks in the last 30 years and still have back-to-back Super Bowl wins. We've only had 7 top ten picks in our entire history.

That is the only legitimate argument I can think of, but at best it is wild speculation.

Bosko is right, but they do have that cheated on the salary cap thing that negates their championships.

I want players on our team that are use to winning and know they can, not wondering if we can.

With that being said, It's hard to do with an _efense like we have.

CP must address all he can in the FA and pick the best available athletes from the draft that can help us in minimal time.

My point is that you can be competitive for a long time with late draft picks, or you can suck for a long time with good draft picks. Cincinnati over the last 10-15 years comes to mind. Tampa Bay before them. It's a crapshoot.

But, I thought it didn't matter where we picked because Peterson would screw up the pick anyway...

What pick do you consider Elway? He was a number one pick and he is the reason you won those S.B.s!!!

And, you will be one and done this year as well. Medicority at is lowest!!!!!
