Packers - Vikings don't belong in the playoffs.
Rams - Rams have the Seahawks number.
Colts - Colts are going to the Bowl, they won't lose in week 1.
Bolts - Jets have lost 3 in a row to playoff teams. Marty gets a playoff win.

St. Louis 30
Seattle 27

-St. Louis pulls the three-time sweep...

San Diego 28
NY Jets 24

-This is a really tough one to call I think, the Jets are very well coached and always hang around and as well as San Diego is playing I think the Jets are going to give them all they can handle and could very easily win, I worry that Pennington's not 100% and John Abraham has missed a few games injured, Curtis Martin has to come up big.

Indianapolis 38
Denver 21

-I think Denver has as good of a secondary as anyone in the league to handle the Colts, problem is I'm not sure they can get enough of a pass rush to make their secondary more effective. If they can't get to Manning, Champ and the whole group of them are going to be chasing down WR's all day.

Green Bay 31
Minnesota 21

-This is going to be a good game, good rivalry in a playoff setting, I think the fact that the two NFC games are rivalry games between teams that know each other real well helps make this first round far more interesting than it should be...

Upset pick: Vikings 27-24; The general mood up here is that they are goners; ergo, they will play well. In a fashion reminiscent of the Chiefs, they will get the locals' hopes up for the second round where they will be beat like a rented mule.

Home teams lose today. Home teams win tomorrow. I guess that means next week the Rams will play at the Eagles, the Packers will play at the Falcons, the Colts will play at the Patriots and the Jets will play at the Steelers.

I'll even go out on a limb and predict that the Eagles will beat the Rams, the Falcons will beat the Packers, the Steelers will beat the Jets and the Patriots will beat the Colts at the divisional level. The following week the Patriots will beat the Steelers and the Falcons will beat the Eagles and the Patriots  will win the Super Bowl.
