Are the compilation album ones.

This Classic Soul Ballads infomercial on the Food Network kicks ass.

I so missed the boat on this one....

Me and my roommate from 96-98 use to log these fuggers like you wouldn't believe. We had them all...

The ab-master, that **** Smith chick, Richard simmons, the Beatles-super-sellout-albums, the Juice guy.....

****....this thread is 5 years too late...

God damnit, just play a clip of Harold Melvin and the ****ing Blue Notes singing the song instead of just playing snippets of the music while your dumb asses talk!

Now it's over, you assholes!

I like the Time-Life music ones.

I like the Real Estate one that is ran by the 2 midget brothers.

I hate all of the workout machine ones ... except for the one that is run by the blonde guy with the pony tail whom is on speed throughout.

The Girls Gone Wild Infomercials would have been great when i was a kid, but now i have the internet ....

Anybody that watches the Food Channel should be locked in a small room and forced to listen to Michael Bolton tunes for 4 hours each day.

HEY! Food Network RULES! I love that channel... but I'm a wannabe chef (among other wannabe things) so it appeals to me.

I hope your TV gets stuck on that channel and that is all you get while the Chiefs are winning a SuperBowl on CBS. That'll learn ya.

Now that's a bit harsh, don't you think? If a football game's on the TV's on that... it's just the rest of the time it's hovering around Food Network... unless porn is anywhere in sight.

Most of the shows (aside from Emeril -- blargh) make for decent background noise, though.

Well, maybe that was a bit harsh. But watching that channel only encourages "them" to put more of it on TV. Bleeecchhh!!!

I guess I don't really have a problem with food-oriented programming going on a channel called the Food Network.

The Iron chef battles can be good to watch sometimes. Depends who the chefs are.

Not a big fan of Malto Mario, either (he just bugs me), so my hopes for the American version aren't high. I fear that Alton Brown can't save it.

We're completely opposite on this channel... I like Bobby and Emeril, hate Alton Brown... but I, too, don't care for Mario, and yes, you gotta love Rachel Ray... my wife thinks I'm weird that I find her highly attractive...

1. It's not coming up, it's here.
2. Don't be excited.

About as successful as the Americanization of 'Coupling.'

As for modern informercials, I really like the Ultimate Chopper. When they grind peanuts into peanut butter... that's pretty damn cool.

I would do things to her that would make the judge clear the courtroom during testimony (to borrow from another Planet poster).

On the thread subject, I'll admit that I have on occasion just left those album infomercials on in the background while I'm working.

Has anyone ever bought any of those?
