Teams that are 8-8 never get a shot at the big time qb's and receivers and it hurts them in the long run for a run at the Super Bowl. Example -Chiefs during Shottenheimer years.

The NBA got smart and went with a lottery to prevent teams from not trying for that high pick. Tim Duncun goes to a team that has David Robinson. That didn't sound right back then.

I've been told over and over that the Chiefs won more games than any team in the 90s, right? How were you hurt?

Elway cheated on the draft. That's how.

Actually, a lottery system might not be a bad thing. It's got marketing appeal in the offseason, and I think that the teams with the #1 and #2 picks are sometimes trapped in what they should do.

Lottery would be kind of entertaining, but I'm not sure they would ever go for it.

screw that shit.. you all would find it great until it came time and we lost our guy because of the lottery when we would have had him under the old way...

This way is fine, if anything do like in fantasy football and draft backwards every other round...
