KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A sore index finger on his throwing hand might keep Kansas City quarterback Elvis Grbac out of Sunday's game at San Diego.
Grbac, who has averaged more than 365 yards passing the last four weeks, hurt the finger in the closing minutes of last week's 21-17 loss to Buffalo.
It's been in a splint all week and does not seem to be getting better, he said Wednesday. If he can't play, Warren Moon, six days past his 44th birthday, would get the start.
