Player: Elvis Grbac
Attempts: 3
Yards: 19
Avg. **6.3**
TDs: 0

**Chiefs 2nd leading rusher after week 2**

He needs to work on goalline situations, but he's been more effective than Cloud, Anders, Moreau, and Bennett.

You think Elvis could throw the halfback pass?

Curtis Enis!

Bears will not re-sign him, they are own on him. He oes not fit their offensive system, and they only gave him the ball 11 vs Minnesota and 4 times vs Tampa Bay. He would be a great play action pass running back. Plus he is young and Gun will love his size and Carl can get him for nothing.

Hoover:

You're forgetting that our 'starter' only gets about 3 or 4 carries a game. Enis wouldn't want to come here and be the 'starter'. Additionally, he has never been a fullback. We can't give him any carries.

Enis makes Dillon look like a team player. He would be yet another member of the committee.

I don't want to see the Chiefs sign Enis. Just once, I'd like to see the Chiefs draft a RB who can make an immediate impact.
How pathetic is our runnig game, if Elvis is our second leading rusher?

Ennis couldn't stay healthy long enough to be a full-time member of RBBC.

He would stay healthy as our starter. He would only be on the field for a few plays a game.

Pretty impresive for Grbac. Don't forget he's managed to do that against 8-9 men in the box! Now I understand what Gun meant by " We have made positive yardage" against those fronts. LOL!

Actually, I think we need to delete this post altogether. If Gun has found this board, and should read this stuff, it might just further fuel his determination to run the ball into the teeth of 8-9 man fronts. Just what we would want to see.

The only player on the squad that can hope tp compete with Elvis's YPC is Frank Moreau.

I don't think it will make any difference who carries the ball, until the Chiefs (no)brain trust figures out that the only way to run the ball successfully is to get defenses thinking about the pass.
