If NY is going to have a chance, they need to get up early.

Not good for the NY Penningtons.

Curtis Martin is a bigger factor than Chad Pennington.

I don't know if you are implying that they're a one-man show, but if you are I disagree.

Most of the "chain gang" are usually locals. They are asked not to cheer and stuff to avoids controversy about where the chains are spotted etc., but seeings as how it's their team in the playoffs, you cant blame the guys.

I didn't know they were locals. The stuff you learn in this place... :thumb:

BTW, I'm pretty much an agnostic when it comes to this game, but so far I'm underwhelmed by Big Ben in the first game I've watched him play in this year. I know he had problems with the Jets earlier in the year, but I thought the guy was better than he's been playing so far.

I just had a gut feeling that this game would be a close one. The Steelers are good but dont really have an explosive offense. Mainly they also have a rookie QB making his 1st playoff start. Should be a great 2nd half...

Actually, using Tivo, they got the ball to hit the ground with :01 left. Not that it mattered...I wouldn't have gone for the 55 yard kick with Brien kicking. But it was pretty amazing that they got set, snapped the ball and spiked it with two seconds left.

98 Vikings were the only 15-1 team ever to lose a playoff game, lost to the Falcons in the NFC championship. The only two other teams to go 15-1 were the 84 Niners and the 85 Bears, both of those teams won the Super Bowl.

Jets have dropped like 10 passes today...yes, it wasn't the best throw, but you've got to convert those plays...Steelers have moved the ball well the last two series but knowing how Martyball works you go into a shell after an INT and you switch runners after a fumble...if Duce screws up Cowher won't have anymore options...

This is all on the rook. He has looked tentative all game. He seemed afraid to make a mistake which of course caused him to **** up.

Well, to be fair, they wouldn't even be here if it weren't for him

I dont get why people around here bitch about Saunders' playcalling. He only fields the best offense in the league. Remember the old days of stone age football...

If you pass the ball and leave time on the clock for the other team in that situation you are taking a huge risk....
