I could definitely see it happening if this game stays close...

I can betcha the 60-70,000 Steelers fans in that stadium are clenching their rectums right now....

Herm Edwards just might take out both of his old buddies...Maybe the Jets are better than advertised??

No, if the Steelers lose it's because "they choked".

Well, yeah, it will be because of a choke. They were dominant at home this year.

Which guy is Marty Jr.?

The Jets have 3 offensive points with Paul "Can't" Hackett leading the way. I think Herm's more conservative than Cowher.

Hackett has gone downfield quite a bit in this game, very unusual for him.... we'll see what he calls with the game on the line here...

Two runs and a weak-ass pass attempt on 3rd and 5. Missed FG. Way to go, Paul.

Paul "cant" Hackett strikes again! I hope New York runs this guy out of town on a stick.

God Hackett is pathetic...didnt he learn anything from Martys failures last week?? Why didnt they try to get the ball closer?? God, I never want to hear one more complaint about Saunders ever again. Saunders is a certified "Genius" compared to this turd.

I think Hackett handled that last series perfectly. Ran a great screen play to get them into FG range then left it up to the kicker. You've gotta be able to make at least 1 of 2 from 40 yards. You have to be on crack to pass the ball and leave time left on the clock in that situation.

43 and 47 yarders aren't gimmes, and Hackett had all kinds of chances to get more yards.

I hope a Marty disciple never wins another playoff game. The Steelers lose to the Colts next week, IMO.

Yep, The Steelers and mostly Roethlisberger better play better than that next week if they want to beat the Pats or the Colts.

I can agree about the 47 yarder, that last 43 yarder was played well though. A 43 yard FG is not a gimmie but it's not too much to ask of a kicker... you have to run the clock down there and not give the other team time remaining and a chance to win. That's far different than what Marty did last week in a situation where it's OT and he's not working against the clock....

What these playoffs are proving so far is that if two Marty disciples (or Marties) meet in the playoffs, one of them has to win eventually.

Ain't it amazing how such a shitty coach has so many disciples?

I was looking at the stats and the choke job was something that would probably happen to the Chiefs.

Doug Brien was 11-12 this year from 40-49 yards this season, including the playoffs. His only miss within that range was a blocked FG against Cleveland. Those 43 and 47 yard misses were his first misses from that range that were either wide or short all season, and they both happened in the last two minutes of a playoff game. Brutal.

The curse is spreading. Now any kicker who plays for a coach who once coached for the Chiefs is now choking in playoff games. Eventually it'll spread to all 32 teams and then we'll be back in the hunt.

Heinz Field is tougher than most places apparently. The longest FG there this year was 46 yards. Why?

But, the team that lost had a Hackett as OC ... so, they had more of Marty than Pitt!!!!!!!!!!!

What would really suck is Indy and Atlanta in the SB.

Two teams we beat.
