Im also pulling for the rams for some reason. I really dont like the hype around Vick so i would like to see him lose. I also enjoy watching the Rams offense when it is actually on.

Mile High Mania
01-15-2005, 07:19 PM
I like the Rams offense as well... is Bruce out today?

Hey ... if the Rams and Vikings win, I think that would be funny. Two 8-8 teams battling in the championship round.

Yeah Bruce is out.

Im pulling for the 8-8 matchup as well. Would make the NFC seem like a complete crapfest.

I also don't like ATL b/c I hate their receivers... I don't know if it's b/c they are a rush first team or they just suck.

Mile High Mania
01-15-2005, 07:22 PM
Siragusa has no sideline value...

It's funny how much he and Moose HATE working together. Moose really hates that guy.

Im not sure if their recievers are that bad. Of the few ATL games i have watched it seems like they were geting open but Vick couldnt get em the ball.

If this really was a fight between a Ram and a Falcon, I'll bet the Falcon would win even though it's a lot smaller. Air power is hard to beat.

I fuggin' hate the Rams and don't feel an 8-8 team deserves to make the playoffs....unless it's KC.

Go Falcons.

I really don't understand what STL is planning on doing with Faulk/Jackson going into next season.

You'd think they'd be using SJ more now if he were really going to take the reigns over. I have both in my keeper league... there's no way I'm keeping Faulk, but I'd sure like to keep Jackson.

I'm keeping Peyton at QB... and not sure I want to keep Curtis Martin as I think this was just a special year for him getting 1,600 and 12+ TDs.

Dr. Johnny Fever
01-15-2005, 07:50 PM
The Falcons may have the 2nd best looking uniforms in the league...after the Chiefs home threads.

I like the Rams' home uni's too but not the road one's so much.

I thought they had a pretty good shot at beating Philly even before TO got hurt.... Vick and that running attack isn't unstoppable but I'm not sure there's anybody in the NFC with the defense to do it. I can really see them playing in the Super Bowl...

Wow, well it looks like the Falcons are gonna win this thing. So someone answer me this. Not to knock Vermeil too much but how can a first year coach who has never been a head coach before get his team to the NFC Championship game. Something Vermeil has failed to do in 4 years now???

Dude, only 4 teams out of 32 make it that far, you could switch the name Vermeil with a lot of other coaches in the league... there are only 4 coaches in the AFC right now who've been to a championship game in Vermeil's time here: Belichick, Dungy, Cowher, Jeff Fisher.
