WTF is going on!? As far as I can tell, there is a talking shake, fries, and meat thing. What is it supposed to be about?

Saulbadguy

Nothing.
Well, that certainly explains alot.

The show is the perfect example of random humor taken to such an extreme that it's rarely funny anymore.

Stick to Family Guy and Simpsons if you want consistently funny stuff.

Saulbadguy
01-25-2005, 02:18 PM
Simpsons has declined a TON. I really think FOX started putting in their own writers, because all it is now is FOX (stupid) humor. I really wish Matt Groening would can the show..its just not funny anymore, and hasn't really been since Season 7 or so.

The Adult Swim stuff has come on real strong. I watched an episode of Tom goes to the Mayor and thought that was pretty funny.

Saulbadguy
01-25-2005, 02:24 PM
Really? I think I've caught every episode of that, and I just can't get into it.
I just thought it was kinda funny because they just talk about ideas of what to do...it doesn't really go anywhere.

I wonder what the Brother's Chap have for a long term strategy with that one... Homestar Runner has got to be going somewhere other than just their website... Adult Swim would be perfect.

Maybe because it does have a plot?

You can't go wrong w/ the Aqua Teens.

Recommendation (other fans will agree):

watch any episode that involves the Mooninites!

all freakin' hilarious..

ATHF is great. Cracks me up on a consistent basis. My gf hates it though and I can understand why certain people would think its stupid. Cuz it is. But its still funny.

I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It took me a little bit. I didn't like it at all in the begininning.

All the different characters interact really well together they way they draw it up.

I can't even explain it...

I love the show though.

ATHF is pretty funny. Carl is my favorite character of them all though, he cracks me up.

The "Total Re-Carl" episode is probably my favorite, where Frylock has created a new toilet that flushes with a jet engine, and Carl's entire body is shredded in it, save for his head.

Then they attach his head to a corpse from a grave, and when that doesnt work out, they build him a new body made all out of eyeballs. Hilarious.

I recently took ATHF off my tivo list. After sitting down to watch 4-5 not very good episodes I decided it no longer merited a spot. However Venture Brothers, Sealab, and Futurama are still going strong. Adult swim rocks.

It's simple - frylock is the straightman. Everything depends on him being rational and acting normal for anything else to be funny.

There are several episodes of ATHF that are personal classics (Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future is one of the funniest things I've ever seen), but I must say this past season was terrible overall.

ATHF is great. From 10-12.30 it's Family Guy, Futurama, ATHF and Conan. Every weekday.

Tom goes to the Mayor is kind of hard to get into... it's clever but it doesn't really grab me.

I think the Venture Bros. is my favorite of the adult lineup right now.. "I am the Monarch..."

ATHF rocks..
Futurama rocks..
Family Guy rocks..

Tom goes to the mayor, is just wierd... too wierd to be funny... Its cool that they drop in celebrities like jack black, but it is just wierd.. Like the whole pilot episodes of protecting the kids with bear traps... It might be the way it is drawn, but it just does not flow well..

They need to add the brak show back in there...

Ur: What the F..Dude there Moonin us

Igininot: Impossible we are the Mooninites

Ur: Engage moon deflectors

Igininot: commence remooning at once

Mooninites Moon Plutonians
Ur: Remooning commencicon

Igininot: Ur please.....your buttocks are so small & square it barely reads as a moon

Ur: Then its time for Full Frontal.

Igininot: Open the Fly to your Sunshine

Ur: yeah put em on the glass

Igininot: Observe our peninsula of masculinity

Ur: and love it

Igininot: Observe the digital dong......That's right I'm Male.

I think my favorite episode is The Clowning.

Talking wig head: God, don't you just want to occasionally freak people out?

Clown: HONK! HONK! (He must never know)

TWH: You don't think he'll think something is up when his feet grow to the size of pontoons?
Clown: (You mock the clown society?)
TWH: That's it, Bingo. You just take your little midget car, and your f*cking big feet, and your f*cking fly rod
Clown: (Okay, but I'm telling Sparkles)
TWH: Good, that means you're leaving. Now frickin go, you stupid clown!

Anyone know of a site that has the full scripts of the show?

Shake is my probably my favorite character. His logic and randomness are great. Plus he is a complete dick.

From the Drizzle episode

Shake: Do a search for super crime...girls in trouble and press release. How to.

Fryman: Here is what your search turned up.

Shake: Sex with animals? There's no time man!

ATHF = Aqua Teen Hunger Force = A cartoon show featuring a milkshake, fries and a meatball (meatwad) as its main characters. I tried to watch it once, but never got into it. A buncha kids were watching that shit in the dorms last year.

The earlier seasons were better (™ Whiny fanboys everywhere). It's gotten more and more random as time has progressed, almost crossing the line into Sealabland (whether that's a good thing or not depends on your perspective) at times, but it's still an extremely kickass show, without a doubt.

Almost as cool as Carl's badass red jeans.

ATHF = teh shizay, yo :D

My favorite = Venture Brothers. Brock Samson is my idol ;)

Sea Lab 2021 is also frigging brilliant.

I HATE Tom Goes to the Mayor... that show is boring and stupid.

Harvey Birdman is hilarious... and the writers are very smart to keep the shows at 15 minutes. Any longer, it would start to get old.

Perfect Hair was the most hilarious joke AS has played on its viewers in quite some time... I lmao; especially when they started posting people's rants about how much it sucked. :D

ATHF is some funny chit. Bizzare, but funny.
Likes the Venture Bros and Sealab.
Always liked FamGuy and Futurama, was really bummed when Fox tookem off, elated when they resurfaced on AS, and weirded out by the constant flip-flopping of their air times. Perchance new eps of Futurama, as well?

Which is funny, since I had the pilot on tape for a year and a half and never felt like watching it, since I didn't think it sounded all that great.

Heh, Ice Station Impossible was great.... Dr Venture hallucinating in the snow, seeing a giant polar bear as Mrs Impossible beckoning him to warm himself in her crotch. All of a sudden Brock comes flashing into screen with a buck knife, then a second later hands doc a bloody polar bear pelt.... "Here doc, wear this... it'll keep you warm"

lmao
