Super Bowl I is being highlighted. 10:30 p.m. MST, 11:30 p.m. CST.
Oddly, our newspaper just had a trivia note the other day that said that no tape of Super Bowl I exists. I guess they were wrong.

Dang it. Dawson threw an interception. He's getting no pass protection at all.

Heh. Buck Buchanan just taught Jim Taylor a lesson.

Perhaps they meant that no tape of the entire first SB exists?

I think Buchanan, Bell, and Robinson could play today.

Heck. Green Bay wins.
Stram's giving a concession speech. He says that we played well in the first half, but that interception by Willie Wood in the second half really hurt us. (It would've been returned for a TD if Garrett hadn't made a tackle at the five.)
We really need a cornerback. Willie Mitchell got torched.

The wide receivers were really big back then. And really white. It was Otis Taylor and a bunch of Marc Boerigters out there.

Now they're on Super Bowl II. In another half-hour, we might get to see Super Bowl IV.

The game has come a long way, did you notice all of the empty seats?

I didn't notice that, but I've heard that it didn't sell out.
Who was the guy missing a tooth on the post-game interviews? And was the guy with the cowboy hat E.J. Holub?

Sorry, my TV is in the other room and I left it to come back here when they game part was over.
Last week in Palm Springs I did meet one old Chief O lineman that played in the 60s. Kind of interesting guy with a lot of knee surgery scars, we were golfing and he was wearing shorts. He even made the pro bowl for the AFL. He was no bigger than an average person. I was curious to see if he played in this game but he did not.

Football players from the 60s weren't that big by modern standards. And alot of them lost weight over time because of a change in their lifestyle. No need to pump iron every day when you're running a business or just enjoying your retirement fund.

Absolutly correct, still is kind of striking when you see it first hand. And thanks again for helping me with the avatar thing!! :thumb:
