I think the next major step was when I had an Oatmeal Stout for the first time at Four Peaks. The past few weeks have just been an explosion, though. Just buying random beers and trying them out... Yeah, the Brits drink Stella Artois out the wazoo. To me it's just another light American-style lager, and I'd be much happier with a traditional hand-drawn bitter served at cellar temperature. In fact, I don't ever remember seeing Stella in the US either. Maybe Cosmic Pal is really a 007 type and has just blown his cover.
