I had 2 jobs in 2004. I dunno if that matters or not. What is the best program/site to use?

Depends how compicated your return is. The two jobs is no big deal at all. Any other expenses or possible deductions?

Actually it was 3. I quit one right before the playoffs started. But, I dunno what you mean by expenses or deductions. I delivered pizza for Dominos and now I have a customer service job for Cingular. I have only been working since June. I didn't work at all last spring semester.

Oh yeah, ASU sent me some thing too. I dunno what that has to do with taxes though. I didn't end up doing mine last year, my mom did.

Sure it matters; but I have 4 kids...and am a teacher. So, personally, Turbotax has been awesome for me for the past 3-4 years. I'd highly recommend it... :thumb:

Unless Miles, who seems to be more educated on these things, suggests otherwise. :hmmm:

1040EZ.....he can do it himself; unless he isn't too bright.

If you file by mail the 1040EZ sounds like its will work so long as you have nothing more complicated than your jobs. The form should be on the IRS site somewhere but i cant seem to find it.

If you qualify for a refund you get if back much faster if you e-file but i dont know exatly how to do it. Here is the link for it and as far as i know its free for students.

You beat me to it. Thats what is was hinting at but I got distracted. Its really damn easy to fill in and file.

Also if you file by mail be sure to do certified mail w/ return recipt.

I'd go with TurboTax. Been using it for the past few years and I absolutely love it. Answer it's questions and it takes care of ya.

As for any jobs...any employers you had should have sent you a W2 form. You would simply fill in each of these into TurboTax and move on.

I can provide you with downloads of TurboTax and even unlimited states if you wish.

If you are self employed or a contract type worker, don't forget the 1099's

I miss the days when I could use the short form.

So far it looks like I'm gonna owe $8K this year - hopefully I can knock another grand or two off before I finish up. This shit is getting more complicated for me every year.
