View Full Version : NFT: Would you use this Super Power?

You are given the power to kill people simply by thinking of their deaths and twice repeating the word "good-bye." People would die a natural death and no one would suspect you. Are there any situations in which you would use this power?

Too easy.

There would be many people across the country that would die just because of a quick temper.

On the other hand, there are probably alot of people around that may need to be disposed of, such as Bin Laden.

I'm referring to YOU specifically. What other people would do is not of consequence here. Would YOU use this power?

If you really wanna punish me, let me live. My hair will be gone soon enough.

Well, I'm sure I won't be the one to pack the bottle of Nair to have handy the next time you pass out at Joes place........

Apparently he performed some blessings on some believers yesterday. It's amazing to see that on his sick bed, he is thinking of others.

BTW, have you started reading George Weigel's biography of PJP II?

I always thought Twins fans were evil. I'm wondering bout you. No, I haven't started it. I got to read so much for school first, but I will definitely take the time soon.

We are evil.

Maybe you can take the time to read Weigel's books during your summer break. He has an interesting history of Catholisism as well as his biography of the Pope.

Now for another thread-changing question...

I remember reading a post of your's saying you saw Sideways. Did you like it? I thought Giomatti was awesome in American Splendour and hope he can continue with that sort of acting. So what did you think of Sideway's?

Jenson71
02-06-2005, 12:45 AM
Loved Sideways. I thought it was the best film of '04, and there were a lot of good ones. Giamatti was excellent and I echo everyone else's "he was screwed!" feelings. I haven't seen American Splendor, but watching that is also something I need to do eventually.

I look forward to seeing him in Cinderella Man this summer. Hopefully his role's not too small, but we'll see what happens. Cinderella Man looks fantastic though.

EDIT - he's got third billing on the Cinderella Man site. :thumb:

Frankly, I think if you wanted to eliminate all Franks or all Arabs at a single thought and a few words, you could.

Only if I had the power to change my mind and bring them back, other wise there would be a ton of "natural deaths" involving teams playing Oakland.
