If the above three were in a death match who would prevail.

In this case, I think it would come down to who the best negotiator is. One of the three would have to get a weaker opponent to help him gang up on the other stronger opponent. Then when it's down to two, he could take out the other one. Unless of course, the other one is smart enough to let him take more of the damage.

Clint is wily enough to think about this, and of course Arnold is a politician so it will come naturally to him. John Wayne is a loner, so he'll just go in swinging.

Since John's not really interested in negotiating and forging alliances, I think he'll be less likely to be on a two-man team. Clint will know that he can't take on Arnold one on one, so he'll be trying to get John to team up against Arnold. Arnold will be trying to convince Clint to team up against John, knowing that he can take Clint one on one. John will be the cowboy, and will attack Clint since he seems to be an easier target than Arnold.

The bottom line is that John will be whaling on Clint, who is trying to shield himself while negotiating with John. Arnold will hang back and watch that fight, and will most likely pounce on Clint as well, since he's on the defensive. Then as Clint is worn down, Arnold will sneak attack John, taking him out. This will give Clint some time to recover, but it won't be enough.

My money's on Arnold.
