If so, what is the process like? How long does the patent process take? Is it very difficult? Just curious.

I applied for a patent on TrINT, but Fatlock circumvented my spelling so he wouldn't have to pay royalties.

I inquired about it once. I think it's one of those deals where you more or less have to have an attorney any more to walk you through the process and do the patent searches. It's been a while, but I think I decided that it would be about $10,000 start to finish for me as a private individual. So I just use my invisibility lotion myself and haven't tried to sell it.

I think I read somewhere one time that you can actually register an idea with the patent office for next to nothing. You don't actually have a patent but the idea is protected then.

I have a couple of great ideas that I think I could make a mint from....I just need to protect them with a patent.

"that was my idea, clap your hands and the light turns on! I'd be rich if I would have gotten a patent."

I think that guy with the question marks all over his suit can set you up with one.
