Prior to voting, please read this thread (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=110213&page=6) first (you don't have to read the entire thing, the first page or so will give you an idea what this is about).

We're considering an approval election for existing moderators and a nominations for new should any current mod not pass muster with the general population. We believe this allows ChiefsPlanet to be legitimately community driven. Please note that voting no in this poll is endorsement of the current moderators.

We'll need to have a few debate threads discussing the proposal and a couple of polls to make it official.

Shouldn't we have a poll on the merits of starting a debate thread.

I think the Planet has a very good mix of mods now. As others have stated, I do not think it needs any fixing.

I'm voting with my wallet.

Since none of you have your hands in my pocket, I'm happy.

May I propose a sub forum for all of this mod election talk...If I'm elected to a moderator position, I'll do all I can to push for the creation of a subforum dedicated to mod elections.

Dammit, I wanted to vote.

I was hoping enough "yes" votes would allow us to get rid of Bob Dole, crotchity old fart...

I suppose, since I'm ALREADY a mod, I could change the results of the poll.

Whoa, that is some seriously funky math. 296427 out of 296430 is 100%?
