Nobody else wants him. It was either that or be released. I'm glad they are keeping him.

No kidding. This guy is good for at least four picks a season. Even with our defense.

It's pretty quiet over there on the Pryce front for some reason. Not too many threads on the situation.

There are plenty worse starting QBs in the NFL that didn't throw for 4000 plus passing yards and 27 TDs.

How much did he get paid last year? did Brian make more than he did?

Oh! Those same playoffs the Chiefs were watching from the seat of their couch for the sixth time in the last seven seasons.

Plummer is not an elite QB or in the top ten in the league, but Denver won't find anybody on the current FA market to do a better job. They can certainly take a chance on Charlie Frye or Jason Campbell, but they would have to take their lumps for a couple seasons with the mindset that neither could end up being a franchise QB.

I'll bet they gave him a choice of taking a pay cut or throwing $50 in a jar every time he throws an interception.

Here are some QB's that have had better careers than Plummint, that could be available:

Kurt Warner
Drew Bledsoe

Here are some young promising QB's id take over Plummint:

Mike McMahon
Quincy Carter

How many times and ways does he have to choke in the playoffs before someone holds him accountable for choking in the playoffs?

So of course he did the logical thing and chose the lesser amount..

Oh Please!

Warner and Bledsoe are statues in the pocket and they get blown up behind Denver's undersized line.

Carter has his own personal demons to deal with and I think he needs to get his life together first and then worry about football.

Anyways, I doubt if Plummer will ever lead Denver to an AFC Championship Game. The Broncos have a long ways to go to get out of their 9-7/10-6 funk that has been going on since the Super Bowl titles.

Right now, Pat Bowlen is more interested in winning 9/10 games as season than blowing the whole thing up and starting over. With that in mind, Plummer is the best man for the job to keep the boat afloat.

Half the mane is ga-ga over Jeff Garcia.

By signing Garcia you essentially sign an older verison of Plummer with better ball control and a weaker arm.

Yep, if he was half as good at managing an offense as he is at finance we would not have this much fun! ROFL I am so fugging glad he is staying, we should have kicked in a little if needed!

If the Broncos signed Jeff Garcia to back up Plummer, it would be a good pick up for them. Garcia can run that offense, probobly better than Jake. Besides the Bronco back up Qb's aren't that good. Broncos would be lucky to have a good West coast Qb fall into their laps. With the past history of Bronco Qb missfortunes, Garcia could see considerable playing time. He could possibly win a few games.

Green has a ring, sure he didn't play in the game. But he still has the ring. Jake does not have a ring.
