Don’t spend that all in one place.

What caused that, sounds like you overpaid.

ya ... sometimes instead of writing a check for one hundred and thirty-eight dollars and seventy-six cents i get irritated and just round the thing up to something quicker to write.

hehe ... just let the extra roll over to the next month's bill.

so i'm lazy

Thus maximizing the time you have to **** about on the internet. Brilliant!

I'm starting to worry... I've never actually timed it, but I'm guessing it takes roughly the same amount of time and effort me to write $200.00 as $138.76.

Am I doing it wrong?

Yes.

Do you have to give them some frequent flyer miles?

Oooh, I just remembered. I got you beat. My last cable bill says they owed me just over $60.

Was that because you usually order $60 worth of porn and one month you didn't but they assumed it was an over sight so they charged you anyways? Then the next month they refunded you. You didn't get $60, they paid you your porn money back.

Shit.

I'm quite serious.

Would it take you longer to write out "One hundred thirty-eight and 76/100" than it would "Two hundred and 00/100?"

I get kind of a perverse pleasure writing out my mortgage, because I have to write very carefully to keep from running out of room on that spell-it-out line.

You can't fit the word "mortgage" on the pay to line?

I wasn't even thinking about that part. I suppose there are a few more letters in the former... but, I can't imagine it's an appreciable time difference.

It's the hyphen. They take me forever.

I'd cut up my credit card and let the interest accrue. By my calculations you'll be rich in two years.

Personally, I think that you should call them every day and ask them if they were aware of the balance and ask how they would like to take care of that balance. Offer to do a check over the phone right now if they would like.
