How is the CMSU-SBU game going MCF?

WU is handling ESU 85-62 right now, with 6:30 left.

Close game. . . SBU is going nuts with 3 pointers which is keeping them in the game. However, they have 4 players with 4 fouls. Mules have 2 players with 4 fouls and still 6+ minutes to go in the game.

66-65 SBU at the moment

Ouch. Right now they are both 13-3 in the conference.

72-71 CMSU right now.

SBU just had their third person foul out. I can't believe the Bearcats have hit 14 three pointers so far.

The Lady Blues clinched the MIAA title earlier tonight.

WU beats their in-state rival ESU 97-73.

Big game on Saturday for the MIAA Title.

Damn, that sucks. Hard to argue with a team shooting nearly 50% of their threes (15-31), but there were some awfully curious calls . . . Wish I could have seen the game to agree or disagree with the announcers. Usually these guys are pretty neutral. This is the worst I've ever heard them rip on referees. I'm still curious to see how you can call 3 seconds on someone who's not in the lane, but again, I couldn't actually see the game so I have to rely on their calls.

Not the way I want to go into the MIAA tournament with a two game losing streak going into Washburn.

western fing choked tonight. They had the ball up by two with like 10 seconds left. NW gets a steal to win via 3 pointer

Woo Hoo! Giuot has these guys playing ball a little this year. He's been a huge upgrade for the Bearcats. Hopefully he can attract some decent talent and get this program on the right track. It's nice to go and watch local college games when the team doesn't give up in the 1st quarter. Last year, these guys would have been out of the game after falling behind 19-12.

Still hard to think of them as SBU Bearcats. When I was in college, they were SWBC and I thought they were the Cougars back then.

Hmm.... I don't know about the name change. I have only lived in Bolivar for the last 2 years and don't have any affiliation with SBU other than I enjoy local sports. I still haven't met anyone who can tell me what a bearcat is.
