They were talking about how his showing in the combine elevated his status. With the reps he was doing, they are no longer concerned with his size.

I think the guy just might be electric in the NFL....

i agree ... he's short, not small

if our defense didn't suck so bad, or we hadn't use a first rounder on a RB already, it would be nice to take a flyer on him in the mid rounds.

i'd still be tempted for the chiefs to take him if he is still there in the 4th/5th round.

I think he'll go in the 4th rd. I see him as a mutli purpose guy. Punt returns, 3rd down back, etc. I could see hm getting 6-8 touches a game including ST's.

Add to that his intangibles. Extra-hard work ethic, no character issues at all, and intelligent.

I think last season was a fluke. They had him carrying 30-40 times a game, KO and PR. On top of that, his team sucked. I think he will be OK in the NFL.

That's what people said about Dante 5 or 6 years ago, remember?

He fumbled 8(?) punts last season. Losing 5(?) Those fumbles are what I'm talking about. Hell, I know he can play. I just don't think he can field punts.

He is just like Blaylock. Would be alot less costly than Blaylock. 4th or 5th round pick.

That's a mental thing; can be fixed, IMHO. :thumb:

He will be the best 4th-5th round pick in the draft. If hes still there in the 4th we gotta take him. He'll be explosive... 25 reps for a RB? not to mention the 4.47. Hes fast, strong, and agile. He could really learn from PH about ball security and field vision. Hed be an unstoppable force after that.

That's what I was thinking.

Hopefully we'll use FA for immediate impact and the draft for depth, 3rd QB to develop, HB, etc...
