Hartwell could play OLB. He played ILB in a 3-4 defense. That's different than playing MLB in a 4-3. I heard this on TV last night. It sounds reasonable to me.

I think Hartwell could play OLB. I don't think that'd be the case with Trotter.

KC would be better off signing either Trotter or Hartwell for MLB, and Bell for OLB.

Doubt that'll happen, though. They still need at least 1 CB, and they've talked about bringing in a safety as well (although I think either Bartee or Battle should be moved to FS and Woods sent packing after June 1).

The whole Barber signing is really starting to piss me off. Many around here bitch when we don't sign big-name free agents, but when you sink that much coin into a guy and he sucks, then it's more difficult to make changes. If we had his salary to spend on a Lucas, Hartwell, Bell, or other 2nd tier guys, we could really add some talent. Right now, he seems to be just taking up space. I also wish we had our safties' money to spend on better talent.
