View Full Version : 610 reporting all 3 FAs still at Arrowhead

Just a head's up, but Kevin Rogers of AM 610 said that they have seen all 3 guys at Arrowhead recently. They just ran into Trotter on the elevator and they can't say anything at this point. Damnit, I'm on pins and needles. That was reported just minutes ago.

I just hope the elevator does not break down. With the Chiefs needing 20Million to fix up teh stadium you never know what might break.

What are the odds they sign all three. It doesn't make sense to me to have 2 MLB prospects in at the same time. Maybe they are considering putting Hartwell outside. Nah.

No, they already play for us. As do Curley and Curley Joe.

King Carl is probably holding an announcement until the Royals game is over. That way, the Chiefs get full immediate coverage. Its a hope anyway

610 had a newspaper guy on from Tennessee to talk about Rolle earlier, and he said that Rolle's contract demands were probably going to be closer to 10-12 million up front, rather than the 15 reported in DC papers.

I hope so, but that's hard to believe after what Henry and Lucas have gotten.

Because the stadium is falling apart and they can't get the door open in order to leave.

I hope so, but that's hard to believe after what Henry and Lucas have gotten. If Carl has been behind closed doors all day, the agent might not know about the new signings and their price tag. I would assume they had at least a ballpark idea on price. I'm just stoked all three guys are still there.

In regards to both MLBers, surely we aren't going to a 3-4 are we?

610 Interview with Reporter Brent Jones for the Baltimore Sun regarding Hartwell:hard-nosed player, doesn't get a lot of credit does alot of dirty work. Takes on tackles,i f a player gets in his radius he's going to make the tackle. Doesn't miss many tackles.Hartwell will fit in well in a 4-3. He never was an everydown LBer in Baltimore, because Ray was the man, he MAY BE. We haven't seen him in that situation. He can make a difference, but doesn't think he can carry it all on his shoulders. He says he has no desire at all to play OLBer, but wants to play MLBer. He's pretty level headed, not an attention seeker. Good with media, speaks his mind, but isn't cocky. Very confident, but not cocky. He doesn't think he'll lead like Ray Lewis, not vocal like Ray Lewis-he won't be jumping around and screaming. Still will play very well and thrive if given a chance. Hasn't really heard of other cities involved, but he follows it from a Baltimore perspective. He would give his approval of Hartwell, still said he'll need help, but will be a solid tackler and help negate one of KC's weaknesess of missing tackles.

I think we sign 2 of the three.

Trotter got a physical first and if we don't like the results we give the $$$ to Hartwell. The tricky part is making Hartwell feel like he is the guy we really want.

One possible reason to hide Trotter away would be that they don't want to announce any results of a physical that was done on him. They wouldn't want to announce that to other teams, pass or fail.
