Financial terms were not immediately available.

Kansas City signed Holliday to a five-year, $21.3 million contract in 2002 after five seasons in Green Bay, which had made him a first-round draft choice in 1998. But Holliday, 29, never made the impact Kansas City had hoped, leading to his recent release for cap reasons.

It's unknown how the Holliday acquisition will affect the Dolphins' pursuit of defensive ends Kevin Carter, Bobby Hamilton and Tony Bryant. The Trenton Times reported Friday that Philadelphia defensive end Derrick Burgess is scheduled to meet Tuesday with the Dolphins.

I can't comment on Tillman, but Holliday is a solid signing. He did pretty good 2 years ago in KC, but got benched last year because of injuries and Jared Allen.

Holliday on the opposite side from JT will pull down atleast 12 quarterbacks. I wanted him from the start, he is a better run stopper than Carter.

This may prove interesting, if he does well it will tell us more about the talent level of the rest of our defensive line. I expect him to be a complete failure though and find it amazing the phins would make such a mistake.

I don't think there's any question he sucks. Jared Allen stepped into his spot and looked 10x better.
