Today's upsets/close games have me kind of worried about tomorrow... between the 2 zones, if Kansas doesn't shoot well, this game could be 12-10 at halftime, and go into OT tied at 26.

Depends on what Kentucky and UNC does today. Well, probably not so much UNC, since they are "the best team ever", but if Kentucky loses to Florida, it might not mean much.

If there's some example of this actually happening, I'd love to hear it, but that's a huge drop. You are right about Texas, but before beating OSU, they were 5-5 without Tucker. They wouldn't punish Kansas that much for losing a guy in the last regular season game of the year.

IMO, injuries should make no difference in seedings. Your team should be seeded based on what you did ALL season. Unfortunately there is a little bit of BCS in there where "what have you done lately" is more important than early big wins.

IMO, injuries should make no difference in seedings. Your team should be seeded based on what you did ALL season. Unfortunately there is a little bit of BCS in there where "what have you done lately" is more important than early big wins.

Why? They are supposed to be seeding teams for the most competitive tournament. Seeding a team based on a player that isn't going to play makes no sense. I mean, they could put Mizzou in the tournament based on Arthur Johnson, Kareem Rush, Rickey Paulding, Keyon Dooling, etc., but they aren't going to be playing so it makes no difference who we were with them.

It's like using an injury as an excuse. You should be seeded based on what your TEAM has done over a full season. KU won a lot of games, no matter who was in the lineup. Those wins are discounted if the team's seed is dropped significantly because one of your starters is lost.
