Hopefully that will take some of their Hartwell money.

I salute your optimism, but somehow I doubt Warner is going to put much of a dent in the 17 million they have.

True but at least its a 1 yr deal so they cant spread it out. Hopefully Bidwell is still tight wad.

Given Warner's lacluster performances over the past few years, along with a major case of fumblitis, I'm betting they got him on the cheap, big time.

Buck Fitty a game!

Anyone going to the Cardinals is doing so they can have more time to play golf and go clubbing in the off season. I have hope Hartwell and Rolle think Arizona is a nice place to visit but wouldn't want to live there.

Not to mention his loud mouth wife. He should be paying to play with that wench screaming from the sidelines.

we need endelt to pay the cardinals a visit and possible go on a crime spree so that we can convince hartwell to come to KC.

Maybe we could get delt to take him clubbing out there. A few dozen fatty bars, and Edge'll be running back to KC.

Apparently Kurt didn't feel like freezing his balls off by the shores of Lake Michigan.

Yep, this smells like the Kurt Warner retirement fund deal to me. Dude can still play, but is a shadow of his former self. sad, i thought he was going to be one of the greats 4 years ago.

I heard John Clayton on the radio around 8:30 KC time. He had a quick snippet about how Denny Green is going full out trying to "recruit" these players to come to AZ. He mentioned Ed Hartwell by name, and that Hartwell is suprisingly interested. And no, I have no link, you'll just have to trust me on this.

I do wonder how Green convinced that tightwad prick Bidwell to open his pursestrings.

IMO, Warner still has a few good years left in him. He got the royal screw job with the Giants after going 5-2 with them. Clayton also talked about that, saying Warner had 11 passes completed between the 4 and 1 yard line, but the receivers just couldn't get into the endzone. that means Warner should have had 17 TD passes halfway through the year. In AZ, Warner will have Anquan Boldin, Bryant Johnson, and Larry Fitzgerald to throw to. If that line can give Warner time, he could have a huge year.

Isnt Arizonia in the process of building a new indoor arena down there???

I think it opens next year. That should bring in some revenue for them

...I If that line can give Warner time, he could have a huge year.

"IF" is the key word.

SECTION_11 can probably lay it out nicely since he's got his finger on the pulse of the Cardinals day-to-day. Green needs a line that functions at an NFL average and they'd be much better off. IMO, they will struggle again in '05 and if Green doesn't bail they should be in good shape by the time they move to Glendale.

BTW, the new arena will have a retractable field in order to grow heat-tolerant grass in full sun. Fans will be able to stay relatively cool in August, September, October under a shaded roof and some sort of mist/cooling system.
