I've got a Chiefs desk calendar that has Trivia questions on it..so I figure i'd share it with the rest of the board.

Question:

Who was the first Chiefs running back to run for 100 yards in a game?

Mark M

Chiefs or Texans?

I only ask because the stats from the team's three years in Dallas are included in the history of the organizaton.

I'd have to say Abner Haynes while with the Texans, in his second year.

Abner Haynes. 114 yards in a 34-7 rout of Denver. 1960 :)

I know this one because I bitched about his pay. He didn't hit until halfway through the season against Green Bay.

He's had stretches where he doesn't get 100 yards in three games combined.

Here is an interesting, but somewhat depressing Chiefs fact:

CORNERBACK Julian Battle, Kansas City's third-round draft choice in 2003, was a WIDE RECIEVER at Los Angeles Valley College before settling into the defensive backfield at Tennessee.

Good one. A WR, turned Safety, turned CB.

See we don't need to draft a young WR we can just move Battle back to his natural position. ROFL

Here's a good trivia question that's probably not on that calendar.

In 1987 when the NFL only played 15 games because of the players strike, what opponent was removed from the Chiefs schedule?

Johnny Robinson? E.J. Holub?
Robinson started out as a HB. I guess we had more luck with switching positions back then.

Couple questions....

Who did the Chiefs draft with the first pack of the 1963 AFL Draft?

Against what team did safety Shaunard Harts return an INT 39 yards for a TD in 2003?

These questions aren't that good.

What player led the Chiefs in sacks in 2003, with 5.5?

Who is the only Chiefs player to throw for 30 touchdowns in a season, and what year did he do it?

You must have the same calendar as I. Today's has the "what player led the Chiefs with 5.5 sacks in 2003?" question. And that would be Vonnie Holiday. What's pitiful about that is that Vonnie got 3 of those in one game against San Diego and then only got 2.5 the rest of the season. :shake:

J.T. Smith is a good guess on that. If it's not him or Podolak, I'm not sure who it would be. Noland Smith never returned punts, did he?
