None of the above. I want Dwight Smith.

Bell, Hartwell, Darius, and Law....oh, yeah.

Too bad that's a pipe-dream. :banghead:

Hartwell should play middle linebacker.

Woods is perfectly capable of being a probowler if he's in the right spot. I'd say don't mess with him. So, here's my option...

Hicks
Sims
Dalton / Siavii
Allen

Hartwell
Bell
Barber (if Barber is IR-d, then we should trade up and nab Johnson)

Warfield
Law / Battle
Wesley
Woods

Law will provide an instant upgrade in our secondary (if he's able to go). This will allow Woods to better play center field if he can rely on the guy on his side to do his job. A better Woods over the top will help Wesley better get them TEs underneath. Hopefully Greg won't be so lost on the deep ball this year. The biggest improvement will be at linebacker of course, which is actually where I think we've been the weakest... If Johnson should somehow make his way to Arrowhead, then we would see all three linebackers replaced. Truth be told, I love the way Barber plays the game, and would miss seeing him out there, but if he can't go, then we have to do what we have to do.

This scenerio should give us MUCH better special teams play with Fujita, Stills, and Mitchell back out there blocking for Hall again like they were two years ago... Plus they are more than servicable backups. Our front four have been pretty good. I like Dalton's motor, and we have a fantastic backup at tackle in Browning. I'm still holding out hope that Wilkerson will be that "shoulda been a first rounder" that he was promised and supplant Hicks on the left side, but that remains to be seen. I would like to see Siavii get some snaps at tackle on first down and Browning at right end to stop-gap for run support, and goal line situations...

Absolutely none of those, I want Siavii on then bench learning and Dalton playing. I also want Browning at the DE opposite Allen.

So I would like based on what I believe is really possible

DE Browning
DL Dalton
DL Sims
DE Allen
OLB Fujita
MLB Bell
OLB Fox/Barber/Beisel/Rookie
CB Surtain
CB Warfield
S Wesley
S Battle

Dalton also had a good year last year; he may....just may....have something to say about this....

I can envision Sims losing playing time, if Savaii progresses.

That's both reasonable, and it looks pretty good--IF Siavi is on the bench because Dalton has earned the start, and IF Battle makes the transition back to safety.

REALISTIC and DOABLE. :hmmm:
