was published last night 3/9/05. So, it's not exactly up to the minute news. It also said the Rams may make a late push.

Where's the link? Where's the story? I'd like to read it for myself.

So?

So KFFL ran a blurb a few hours ago on a story that was out last night. The general consensus seemed to be that "soon" meant that Hartwell will be signed this afternoon. Just posting so people, like myself, don't sit around waiting for the "Hartwell signed!" post all afternoon.

Seems that signing "soon" for the Chiefs this free agency means that there is a 33.3% chance he will sign and a 66.6% chance he won't sign.

1. Free agent IB Edgerton Hartwell is very close to signing with the defense-poor Kansas City Chiefs. The soon-to-be-ex-Raven and his agent, Harold Lewis, are working on finalizing a deal that could be completed as early as tonight (Wednesday). However, St. Louis still hasn’t given up on signing Hartwell and may make one last push. Weighing in the Chiefs’ favor, however, is that Hartwell wants to play for Chiefs defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham.

No shit. I log on for 30 seconds about 50 times a day now just to check headlines.... I can feel my blood pressure going up.

the Carl Peterson Roast is tonight, so the chances of anything happening before tomorrow would be slim

Why should such a common event as you wetting yourself be noteworthy.

In the original thread someone pointed out the date and time, so why the need for this thread? Don't take our hope man.
