Bartee to Safety? [Archive]

Since the day this kid was drafted, we heard that he had excellent talents and skills. Well those skills haven't translated into even a decent cornerback. I'm just wondering why the Chiefs haven't yet moved him into a safety position. I'd like to see how well he plays when he can see the field. He should be packing for a trip to NFL Europe to learn a new position, but the Chiefs are sitting on their hands on this one. Does Gunther see something in Bartee that we are all blind to. Or does Gunther plan on continuing this overcooked experiment. Does anyone have any old scouting reports from when Bartee was a Safety at Oklahoma?

If he wasn't on the 2 deep FS list when TC breaks, he'd be on the street washing cars for tourists for bus ticket money home...If I were GM.

I don't think he would have a problem with the bus ticket ride home. If it meant him going home I would send him the money right now.

My thoughts exactly, why would he turn his head at safety when he does not do it at CB? School is out and he flunked, good fugging bye!

I think it's time to cut bait on some of these bums. We have 72 safeties on our roster, and none of them appear to be worth a sh*t.

We've watched Bartee suck for 5 years. There's nothing left to see. It's not like he's been hidden on the bench.
