According to most, we don't make the NCAA tourney if we don't win the Big 10 tourney. So if we drop before then and then lose again in round one of the NIT, he could still be gone.

I just can't ****ing believe this.

They lose to ****ing NORTHWESTERN but beat Michigan State in the tourney.

It all started in his 1st game here, when they beat the #1 team in the nation.

Bowlsby just looking for an excuse, ANY excuse, to keep him. Have you ever seen them together? Bob LOVES Alford.

Talk to me after you've lost 31 in a row to Iowa St.

Until then, live the dream.

I would never be mistaken for a Hawkeye fan, but I think they're in. I could be wrong though. Hopefully ISU is in, Im pretty sure they are, but unless you are ranked super high you just never know.

Why do I think I could replace "Alford" with "Quin" and understand exactly how you feel?

I heard on Fox Sports radio today that ISU is probably in regardless of what they do in the Big XII tourney. I hope so.

Everyone in the media that I've seen or heard (ESPN, radio, print) says the opposite ... that we can get in without winning the tournament -- many if not most have said that beating Michigan State is probably enough. Not sure who the "most" are that are feeding you your info.

Alford is the man, for my school - Missouri State. Not for you Iowa folks.

I'm tired of the Alford roller coaster. Please let me off.
