I was listening to Sirius radio and it was said that Cincinatti was thinking about releasing Warrick. They also said the Bengals were interested in Burress.

With that said, does anyone here think that Warrick may be a good fit for the Chiefs offense? He hasn't really done alot so far in his NFL career but with the right scheme he may still have some potential.

Nothing special but considering what we are trotting out at the position it would certainly be an upgrade.

Have you guys seen him play. Don't look at his stats, have you seen him play?

The guy is good. He catches everything thrown his way, and has some sick moves.

I think he would be a great fit for the Chiefs if he would come CHEAP.

That being said, defense still needs a lot of imporvement.

Yes....Have you ever seen Johnnie Morton?

What happened to him last year? He only started one game, and only played in 4? He's at the very bottom of the wide receiver rotation on their depth chart as well.

Was he injured, or just get in the coach's dog house?

I'ld certainly give him a look-see. He is 'quick', which is the type of receiver we seem to favor. I've always been fairly impressed.

He seems like he would be a good fit for our system. I'd be interested to see if the coaches agree.

He was injured. I picked him up in my fantasy league because he was also their punt returner. He didn't last long on my roster.

Great college receiver, but too small to do anything in the NFL.

There are many starting WR's that are his size have accomlished good things in the NFL.

I'd sign him the second he is released. I think he'd thrive in our offense.

Best post you've ever made here, dude. Thankfully none of that badgirl is rubbing off on you.

Shit, I remeber him destroying us on our way to 10-0. Of course our secondary is pretty unique in the NFL, so I can't really judge.

I'll echo that. Dunno if he'd "thrive", but he can't be worse nor more expensive than our current starters. Playermakers go to Cinci to die. You can't judge anybody based on their Bengals production, IMO.

Not only does he have pretty good hands, but he's got speed too.

younger than Morton...

As long he doesn't do the worm in the endzone I'd take him. Nothing screams, "I'm a freakin' homo!" like doing the worm in the endzone.

You know, I never noticed you posting before now. Maybe I should change my ID so you don't know who I am.

Did you check out my tips on the Defend game?

I'd take him in a second. He's younger than 30, has some good speed and would be a major upgrade to our shitty receiver corp.

You guys act like we have a load of talent there. We have very little

The thing about Warrick is he's not just fast he's as quick as Dante Hall or maybe a little quicker

hell yes. i wanted the chiefs to draft him when he came in the league.
he was a badass at FSU and would've won the heisman if he hadn't been suspended. i think he'd do pretty good in our offense.

Hell... Sign Peter Warrick, Warrick Dunn, Dionne Warwick... it doesnt matter... they are all better than our WR corps.

If Warrick is so great, why are the Bengals releasing him? What WRs do they have beyond Johnson?

T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR.

They seem to be pretty high on him from what I've heard. One hell of a name though.

They also have K. Washington. I think they're pretty high on him also but like I stated, the rumor is that they are interested in Plaxico Burress.

Warrick would be a nice pick up for a cheap price. Not only that, but if Dante gets dinged up again, he is a legit replacement in the punt return game.

Like a lot of these guys coming in..... if we can get him for below market, why the hell not? He will be better then Slo-Morton. A better reciever with experience.... does not sound to bad to me.
