San Jose Mercury News article

"

Wile,

Thanks for posting the article. I don't have to wait hours to read it on the Star sight!!!

Got a tech question for you guys ... where do we find the Chief's article on the San Jose Mercury News site? I've clicked all over the sight and do not see it. Is it under the Raiders or 49ers links??? Or just where can I find the link? I'll start reading it on the Mercury instead of the Stars sight.

Also, why is it that we can get the articles two hours ago on the Mercury site and it will not appear on the Star sight for another 4 hours????

Just an FYI, if anyone cares -- The KC Star and San Jose Mercury News are both Knight Ridder newspapers. So whatever is written at one paper is shared with all the others. And they don't seem to care which paper publishes the story first since they are not in the same market. That's why you will sometimes see something in another Knight Ridder paper by a KC writer before you see it in the Star. And the websites just make it faster.

Quick little Journalism 101 course. For those who care.

Yes, I realize that Jim!!! But, for the last few days the article that the KC writers have written have shown up in the Mercury News site long before they appear on the Star's own site. Many of us eager bever fans want to read the info sooner rather than later....

I see Whitlock's article about baseball's congress hearing on the Mercury site but not the article by ADAM TEICHER.

I'm just wondering where we can find it and not have to wait until 2:00 A.M. K.C. time???? Which is late afternoon for me.

Do a search for Kansas City Chiefs, and after getting the results, on the far right side is an option to Sort By Date. There you go.

I have a customized Google News page that pulls articles for strictly the Chiefs, the NFL league wide, sports in general, etc.

I found it under the 49ers link after doing a google search for Mercury News. Try this site for other NFL news

http://www.prosportsdaily.com/nfl/nflrumors.html

on the left hand side is Chiefs rumors for Chiefs stuff. Most of the registered sites open, if not use BugMeNot.com
