It's the off-season, OK? And I'm sure there will be some heated debate to follow. Poll is on the way..................

No NFL Network option?

My late-night TV viewing habits are surf-fests between NFL Network and what I like to call "The 500s," all the damn movie channels.

Sometimes I watch Stern on E!

I can't watch AMC anymore, the commercials piss me off. TMC I watch for the occasional **** film (**** meaning four-star :p ). HBO is still my preference though, simply for their series'. Some of the best stuff on the boob tube.

I wish they had better porn. Real Sex is too freaky.

I cut my porn teeth on showtime. Hot Springs Hotel and Beverly Hills Bordello.

Porn? What's that?

Well if it's the cinemax variety its naked people groaning and pretending to give each other pleasure. Followed by a setup scene. Followed by more groaning and fake penetration.

If it's the showtime variety (more often than not) it's people pretending to have sex but shitty music drowns out the moans and groans. This is followed by unnecessarily long scenes of people talking, often confused as a "plot." If it's a Shannon Tweed movie you might get too involved in the characters.

Nickelodeon, I have a nine year old son. At night National Geographic, travel channel,Discovery and History channels. If they all have bad shows or repeats I'll go looking through Fox sports for surfing and fishing shows. I'll also click on ESPN News for a few minutes every day and a few clicks at.20 and .51 after the hour to see storm updates and weekly planners on the weather channel. This is a nightly routine for me, my family hates my control of the TV. But it has made them all better people, they all spend each night in their rooms reading books. The phone rings here at the house 3 times a day telling my family members that their books have arrived at the library. My wife alone will read two books a night. She's been on a science fiction binge for three years now after I had her read some Harlan Elliison and Robert Heinlein.

I wish you could just buy cable per-channel. Hell I have like 200 now and only watch 10 of them with any regularity.

Fox News, ESPN, History, Sci-Fi, Comedy Central, FX (for cops), that is about it. Local channels from time to time.

I listen to the Music Choice channels pretty often too, there's some good stuff on there.

I like when the channels center on a theme or performer.

Tonight Claudette Colbert was in The Palm Beach Story and Since You Went Away.

These films were made long before I was born, but I still love the fact that good acting had to practically carry a movie on its own merits.
