****ers! I just got an email stating that my domain name, windows-hints.net, is in violation of a Microsoft trademark. They have given me 30 days to comply before they continue with legal action. :cuss:

Quick, change all the web pages so they deal with painting, installing and finishing transparent portals, and have lots of links to glass companies.

The one with the most money makes the rules. I know that they have been successful in shutting down "Windows" titled sites. Good luck against Darth Vader. You are going to need it.

Just a tip on how to get around the lawyers that other sites have used successfully is to shorten the name to Win instead if Windows.

There are documented instances where MS has provided remuneration in exchange for handing over a domain name. You might want to research it a little before you do anything.
