Heh, won't be long before Frazod sees this. :D

As for me, I got up to 230, but slimmed back down to 215, which I have been there for quite some time.

283 (I'm 6-feet tall).

I got that way by eating like a ****ing pig. I used to work until 2 a.m., by the time I got home it would be 2:30 and I'm the type who has to unwind before going to bed, so I'd be up til 4. Many times on the way home I'd stop at the 24-hour grocery store and pick up comfort food to eat -- including packages of chocolate chip cookie dough, which I'd eat with a spoon while sitting on the couch watching TV at 3 a.m. Frozen pizzas worked good, too.

I finally wised up and dropped 70. Have kept it off 5 years now. I ain't buff, but I'm no hog anymore, either. I exercise and I control my eating. It's been a major lifestyle change, but I enjoy it.

I'm 5'7".

I was sedentary for a couple of months after my knee reconstruction in '97.

Started taking the weight off in rehab, and continued the loss when I went back to work.

I'm back at a comfortable 145 now.

I still eat like a pig.
Fast food primarily for lunch, snacks, mostly chips and cakes, and usually a big dinner, followed later in the evening by a couple of bowls of Honey Smacks, or Chocolate Crispies, or some kind of pre-sweetened cereal.

I got beyond 250 once. It was during some of the darkest moments of my 1st marriage. I was drinking a six pack of Dr. Pepper a day and a gallon of sweetened tea when I got home. I was really hydrated, but consuming nearly 2000 calories a day in beverages alone.

I got down to 197 last year about this time, but I'm back up to 215 or so. I've hovered between 215 and 220 most of my adult life, but I'm gonna drop and stay under 200 ASAP.

You guys don't know fat. My "high" point was 320, I started eating right and working out again a month ago and I'm back under 310. I'm 6ft FYI

I had several issues happen at once that blew me from 225 with under 10% body fat to where I am today. My issue was my second knee surgery which killed my workout schedule coupled with maintaining my 6 meals a day like I was still lifting non-stop coupled with starting a new career which caused me to change those 6 healthy meals to eating s**t 6 times a day.

It all went to hell and now, 10 years later, I'm just not starting to get my fat ass back together.

People don't realize how much sugar is in soda. Cutting that crap out of your diet ensures you will lose weight.

How tall are you? Six foot, 6'1? At least you can carry 250 at that height and not look like a complete slob. If you'd just drain some fluid out of that cranium, you'd probablly drop another 10.......

Heh heh.

I wasn't really in the REAL military, just the Air Force. :D They were starting to change the rules on how you were gigged for being a fatty. They were going more on bodyfat percentage than actual weight. I remember seeing this guy who was probablly 6'2 and 250, all of it muscle, being in with the lardasses because he was overweight according to the handy dandy Air Force manual that tells you what you should weigh. Needless to say, he was not happy to be on the fat boy regimine. I think he got some type of waiver from the commander to get out of the fatty classes. Heh.

Large and in Charge

I don't really like talking about my weight.

I'm the youngest of 3, my two older brothers were always better at sports, and I never ever felt good about myself. So in high school I hit the weights, I was the short stockey kid (Human Square) I could lift a ton, was a good NT in high school. I knew I was over weight, but I was a popular guy and put it out of my mind. In High School I weighed 225, on my 5'8 frame. (yuck)

In college I held my own, I had a job that requred me to walk a lot which was good. However my eating habits were still shit, and I stopped lifting weights.

After college I worked on a presidential campaign and every thing went to hell. I was working from 9 am to 9 p.m. 7 days a week, lunch was aways fast food, and I drank a lot. The sad thing is I didn't know how bad I was letting my self go. I went from 225 or so to 275 (And I didn't get any taller). After a doctors visit I knew I had to lose weight, and started a low fat diet, with some exercise. I wasn't getting any results, my diet weas better but not losing any weight.

The Christmas of 2003 I got really sick, just a bad as flu bug. My wife had to take care of me, and I knew that I had to change things or who knows how long I would live. I went low carb, and since Jan of 2004 I have dropped 50 lbs and kept it off. I'm still fat at 225, but I feel like I'm in good shape, but I need to get down to atleast 200 by the end of the year. I've been stuck at 225. But I thank God everyday I'm not at 275. I can't stand looking at old photos.

I think I peaked at about 230 a few years ago, didn't weigh myself much at all. Got off my butt and lost 20 pounds in 6 months, don't know when I lost it, as I was still avoiding weighing myself. Got back up to 213 between Turkey day and Christmas this last year, I was taking lots of ibuprofin due to some tooth issues, and was having to eat to keep my stomach from tearing apart...

Went with a loose weightwatchers type of diet in mid Jan, now down to 175. Exactly what I wanted to weigh. I have received a bunch of positive feedback, even caught one of the cuties at work giving me a good look down, LOL! I have been lifting weights 3 times a week and running on an elliptical machine three other nights, with bowling on Mondays, haven't had any fast food and just watching portions. Still looking to tone some.

Now if I could get some damn sun on my skin...

I once got to 268,being in outside sales didn't help as it was always hit a drive-thru for a burger etc. and I quit playing softball.

Started the low carb thing a little over a year ago and got down just under 200,however,I'm staying steady at 210 and just found out I'll be playing ball again this Spring and Summer.

I'm there now 6', 240-245.

It started with my wife's pregnancy, where I ate big becasuse she did. That was followed by winter, where I always gain weight because I'm not working as much. And now I'm at a point where I do a lot less physical work at my job, so I'm not burning off the stuff like I normally would. With the new baby, we just don't go like we used to. I also don't drink as often, and for some reason my body needs to replace the alcohol fix with sweets (which I used to never eat).

With my frame, I'd look okay at 210, and great at 200. I used to not bat an eye at needing to lose 15-20 in the spring. Now I need to lose 35.

During my 'marriage' I was over 250 (I'm 6'0). That was the result of several years of depression and probably the worst eating habits you can have. I wouldn't eat at all for 8 or 10 hours after getting up, then I'd binge eat fast food or pizza when my wife came home. So my metabolism was at a stand-still and I ate really bad shit. Worst of both worlds. And I think the diet helped feed the depression which in turn fed the diet, so it was a vicious circle...

Last year I went from somewhere around 250 to 205, I'm between 215 and 220 right now; I had a minor relapse during the winter months, cut my exercise back to almost nothing and gorged on pizza and fast food again. I'm back on track now, and I'm going to get to 190 by the end of the year.

The important thing for me is to not let myself get lazy with either the eating or the exercise and to stop myself whenever I start saying I'm fat. I have an old, old habit of saying really negative stuff about myself that I've been in the process of breaking, because it hurts me more than it helps. I figure if I keep saying I'm fat, I'll be fat. So I'm not saying it anymore.

In high school I was 5'6" no muscle (bench ~120 lbs) and 195 lbs. Then I began losing weight until I was at 6'2" and 150 lbs in college, still no muscle. (Diet plan: eat light meals, Exercise plan: play basketball for 2 hours every night.) At this point I decided that I was too skinny and began lifting weights to put on some muscle. I am currently 6'2" 200 lbs at 12-15% body fat. The most I have ever weighed is 210 lbs during a bulking cycle.

I'm about 6' tall and my peak weight was something around 220 lbs.

I got that way by eating junk food and doing minimal exercise. At the time, I had a huge appetite.

At one point a few years ago, I got sick (liver cancer) and lost my appetite completely. Even the smell of my favorite foods would make me nauseous. My weight dropped to 129 at it's lowest. The docs tried to stimulate my appetite with steroids, but it didn't really work. I started smoking pot before meals and it IS a wonder drug in that regard. I don't need it anymore (and haven't for several years) as my appetite is fairly normal again, but I haven't been able to pig out the way I used to (which is a blessing IMO). I now feel full on about half of what it used to take to give me that feeling. I fluctuate between 175 and 185 now but I'm still not doing enough exercise.

I've slimed back down to about 150.

LOL! I'm 5'9" and when I weighed 160 in college I wanted to be bigger.

Of course your goal may be to have a body of a female runway model.

Morphius
hated being too skinny as well.

I was at 200 when I got married, the biggest I have ever been or will be (I weighed less when 9 months pregnant). To think in high school I thought I was fat at 130 that changed my attitude and outlook real quick. Currently I sit around 140 at 5'4". No, it’s not called fat, it is called curvaceous!!

I once was 260lbs. That was the worst I've ever been. I just went through a phase where I ate and drank everything I could get my hands on. I was very stressed at the time, and, unfortunately eating and drinking were considered like scapegoats. right now, I'm about 207lbs, 5'11" tall. I'm very happy with that. The only thing that bothers me from time to time is having to look in the mirror and seeing those stretch marks :( all because that stupid time where I put on so much weight progressively, my skin was forced to stretch. :shake:

I'm 5-9 and have weighed in at 175 tops. But that was a few years ago. Wasn't really fat. Just lost. Had no abs. Had no endurance. Felt run down.

Decided one day that it was time to start running. Couldn't make it around the block that first day. But with a little perseverance and lotta sweat I built that up into a marathon. The day I ran that race I weighed 160 and was thin, strong, happy and 41 years old (2001).

Started a newer (for me) workout routine using a physioball. Those things kick azz. Has made me more flexible.

Gearing up for a trip to Eire to run the Dublin marathon and make my way through the country for a couple of weeks.

I used to lift weights and had the large calorie intake that goes with that. Then I switched jobs and bought a house, and stopped working out. Unfortunately the apetite stayed.. that was 3 years ago and over that time I've ballooned from 190 to 257lbs on Monday :(
Then I watched that Documentary "Supersize Me" on monday and it motivated me. I started a diet and excercise program and I've already felt better just by not eating all that junk. Down to 252, and a looong way to go.

I started a diet and excercise program and I've already felt better just by not eating all that junk. It really is amazing how bad junk food can make you feel. I usually don't even realize it until I stop eating it. Although every so often, a burger or a pizza just hits the damned spot.

I too ran afoul of the Air Force's height/weight chart. I arrived in Korea weighing 150 at 5' 10". There was nothing to do except get drunk and pump iron. So I did both to the extreme. After nearly a year I was at 168 and could bench 245#. I also did tons of sit ups on the incline board and had 15 1/2" biceps. I took the "fatty order" to the colonel and he laughed and said he would take care of it. My lowest weight according to my mom was 8 lbs 10 oz.

255 right now, all caused by my wife. I was at 210-215 when we got married and ballooned to 240 shortly after. Gained another 10-15 lbs when I quit smoking.

I am 6'1'' and I weighed 285-290 not quite sure if I made it to 290, but definitely believe I did. I have a big bone structure, and I put muscle on really easy. So, senior year of high school during football season I got up to 258, but that was mostly muscle. After football I started working at KFC, not a good call. Over the period of a year working there I gained 40 pounds of fat, and damn was I fat. With my large frame I never looked terrible, but damn I could tell the difference. When I decided to lose the weight I got down to 215, but was noticably weaker.
So, right now I am at 240, but damn strong. I still would like to way 230, but keep the current strength. Not sure if that is possible or not.
My one comment on those supposed natural weights for natural heights, is that they are horse ****. My dad and I have very simular body types, and after dialisis and heart surgery he is the skiniest I have ever seen him. He still ways 188, and according to those height and weight predictors he should lose another 10lbs. I now know with nearly 100% certainty I would probably have to go through every thing my Dad went through, and cut off a limb to way what I am "supposed" to.

Totally agree. I've got a fairly big frame, yet the gov't says my "natural" weight should be about 185. I'd have to lose 30 more pounds to get there. I'd look terrible. I think 200 is about as low as I'd go. I could see dropping 15 more (I've still got some flab to spare), although I've noticed that once I get to 210 or so, my body begins to fight it. I'd have to push to get over that hump. So I imagine it would be a useless titanic struggle to get to 185.

Exactly, when I lost all my weight and got under 200 I had some clients asking if I was sick.

220 lbs.

I got that way by drinking way too much dark beer and a total lack of any sort of exercise.

I'm now 190, and I need to drop about 5-10 lbs. Due to the new baby, I've had a hard time finding time to work out. I'm starting to make the time now, though. Ran twice this week already, and will hopefully run again on Friday.

What fatty chart was that? I've been in the Air Force for 14 years at 5' 10" and weighed between 165-182 and never came close to the Weight Management Program or the new bag of fun we're doing now...

Yeah, but 160 or so....for someone who's 4'9" is pretty hefty.
