Anyone got any jokes that they might have pulled if they were inclined... No sense in wasting them...

I thought about making up some story about how I was being relocated to KC....

I thought about posting a Chiefs signed Surtain thread, but I figured everyone here was too smart to fall for that one.

I was considering posting variations of these three before I thought better of it:

I'm getting married
I'm joining the army/navy/air force
I got laid

That would take some genius that I'm not capable of on a Friday afternoon...

Yeah, like even the dumbest planeteer would have bought any of that. Especially that "got laid" one.

I was thinking about starting a rumor that the Donks had added a whole Defensive line that had previously failed as a group in the NFL. ROFL ROFL

Awww, comon. dude, that would have been the best. First you get to see his/her look on their face, then they are happy for the rest of the day about still having a job. It's a win/win.

Be sure to mention your policy of letting people go on a Friday afternoon so as to reduce the possibility of an "incident".

What did people think about that show? I happened to catch it last week (the premiere), and it's actually kind of funny, in my opinion.

The boss will have to fade to the background and become a minor character, though. He's too one-dimensional to lead the show. I'll bet that the younger office-supply buyer will end up being the star of the show if it survives.

I thought it was great. I do think the boss character is perfect for his role as narrator/star though... although I do think that the spaz who gets his stapler put into jello will emerge as the best comic relief.
