This whole tournament may have been decided on the back 9's Saturday morning, and Sunday morning. I'm really glad CBS decided against letting anyone see it.

Tiger's game is on. He benefitted from basically playing a round and a half yesterday, striking the ball the way he was. All he needs now is to play steady today and force the people behind him to take some calculated risks.

Wow.

Less than half an hour to lose four strokes and gain a three stroke lead? Just wow.

It does suck that none of it was televised (to those who watch golf, anyway). But the "traditionalists" running the tournament share an equal blame for the lack of coverage. Hootie and the boys are a bunch of clowns, IMO.

He should have played it safe. His drives are killing him. If he played it safe and not try to crush the ball he might have won it outright. The playoff should be interesting.

I think the golf world would have imploded if DiMarco had chased Tiger completely down from three back.

It would have been the first time that ever happened. Certainly, there would have been quite a bit of hullabalu...

Especially since no one gave DiMarco a chance in hell of pulling it off. I thought as soon as he got the lead it was lights out.

It was pretty hard not to start rooting for DiMarco once they started showing pictures of his family. But with all that pressure, you had to know that the cracks would start to show eventually. He's got nothing to be ashamed of, that's for sure. He said it himself... He proved something out there today.
