A while back, I recall Saulwhateverthef*ck talking smack on MU and their baseball team. I hadn't paid any attention to what K-Snake had been doing, but I knew MU had been doing pretty well, even though we haven't been playing the top teams. I was surprised to learn that KSU was in last place in the Big 12. What's going on with the Purple?

I actually started a thread about the series. I didn't get any bites, but to answer your question: We aren't very good. Our coach is in his 2nd year, and although they show some promise, they still aren't playing with any consistency.

So..why are you suprised we are in last place? We are always in last place.

Yes..there are NCAA sanctioned sports other than Mens College Basketball. :)

Shit!! The Huskers dropped the rubber match against Texas today 6-5 to drop to 27-6 overall and 6-3 in the Big 12. But they should have won the series. I now know that the Huskers are for real. Texas's pitching is just as good but I believe the Huskers lead the Big 12 in team ERA. It was their bats who let them down in key situations today. :shake: Missouri really hasn't played anyone yet so we will find out about them in the coming weeks.

As predicted, MU begins their freefall. Hell, they just got swept by Oklahoma State. Next up, the Sooners. Good luck.

NU takes 2 of 3 from A.M. for a tie for 2nd with Mizzou. Should of swept the Aggies. Next up Baylor next weekend. NU's pitching is very strong. They've been in a hitting slump lately but pitching and defense are winning games.

Baylor is in 1st right now, but I think eventually Texas will win the title outright. Baylor has been fattening up on the bottom feeders of the Big XII (Kansas, K-State) in the last few series.
