Clinky just stated if Greinke is going to be the pitcher they say he will be they should trade him. Why waste the next 4 years?

Stupid. IMO

I rarely even listen to those guys anymore. They aren't sport guys, they are hobnobbers, who throw in sports once in awhile. Consider the source when listening to those guys.

Anybody who thinks that needs to be hit over the head with a baseball bat. Seriously.

Radios should be made so that if your dial hits 810 AM, other than during a royals broadcast, it would self destruct. The innards would melt together and smoke would leak out through the openings, mission impossible style.

well.. I would like to know what his reasoning could possibly be... but no one is untradeable... I'd trade anyone if the price is right.

If Clinksdale said that then it confirms his status as the UberAssclown of the world.

I'd trade him for the Yankees entire roster, if they would pay their salaries. But beyond that, it's moronic.

I think what he said was, we should get what we can out of him for the next 5 years, because after that, he'll likely be elsewhere. I didn't hear him say anything about trading him now.

BTW, did anyone else see what he did to Sexson today? It was hilarious, made his knees buckle twice in the same at bat. There was audible "whoa" from the crowd, and a standing ovation afterwards.

well.. if he said "get the most out of him now" I agree.. we shoud use him like a rented mule, because when his contract is up.. he's a Yankee

That's essentially what he said... what I heard anyway.

Well, in a way there is sense to trading a good player to get propects if you aren't ready, but he is young enough to be ready when the rest of the team might be ready.

And also again if he turns out as good as he's supposed to be, which is one of the best pitchers in a very long time, it would be hard to get a fair deal for him. I mean, in any sport it would be hard to get good value for one of the very best in the league, like he is supposed to become.

That's why hopefully the new CBA in 2007 will help with revenue sharing even further... plus you have to remember by then Sweeney's salary will be long gone, right now he's tying up a lot of our payroll.

Your right. What Clinky should be saying is why dont we go out and spend more on some legitimate "Major League" bats to give this guy some run support??

Greinke is here for AT LEAST 6 years.
