Anybody else watch it?

I thought it was pretty good. Sort of like The Seventh Sign as a mini-series.

I wonder if the non-response is due in part to bad advertising or perhaps part of the 8th sign?

Definitely worth a second watch, IMO. The evile bastard has the makings of a great villain, too.

I've always liked Pullman, too. Don't really know why. :D

I think it's going to be more style than substance, as in editing tricks and a formula story, but there's not much else on right now in terms of genre TV. I'm not expecting anything earth-shattering.

I thought it was about the best network TV I have seen in quite a while.

Edit: Other than Lost, of course.

The Irish chick was in Ronin, and she is definitely the hotness (is it bad if I think she makes a slammin' nun? Oh crap, Catholic guilt is creeping...back...must..have...more...Guinness...)

I think the first episode was a little on the slow side, but I'm hoping it's a setup for some crazy sh*t to start happening, a la The Stand. Sometimes Bill Pullman leaves me flat, yet I can't help but like him too. Feh. Besides, until our DC gets installed, all we can get is the local NBC affiliate so it's The Office, Revelations, and Conan for now. Better than the "all preach" channel on 13...

CNBC replayed it again last night, you might want to check their schedule to see if they'll play it again.

Fred Durst as a Satanist?

We will be checking it out next week.

I thought it was probably the best TV movie I've seen in years...Pullman actually doesn't suck, his performance so far has been very very good...the evil bad guy is great....the nun is hot, a little overbearing but that's her character...

...the story is intriguing. I will not be missing any of this show.

OK, you got my attention. What network/cable shows it? When? And is it continuous?

Last time NBC had a miniseries that was based on Bible stories, it was kinda lame. I don't remember the name but I do remember them dispalying the text about taking 'poetic license' . They were off on their facts. They even had Noah and his 'family' all going crazy after several months on the ark. :shake: Needless to say, I was not too interested in this miniseries.

Yup, and Lot was Noah's cousin. It was pretty bad.

They played it like a comedy! And a bad one at that.

What's up with the baby?

I missed the first 2-3 minutes.

The baby is basically Christ...found floating amidst a shipwreck, only survivor etc etc.

Yeah, the Noah's Ark was freakin' aweful. They also did one on Judas last year, I think it was NBC...I watched that sorry peice of crap for about 20 minutes. This one is good IMO because the book of Revelation is so wide open to interpretation, there are alot of angles they could follow. I am a Catholic, btw, so usually when the have one of these peices of crap movies on TV I am skeptical. So far, no warning bells with this one...
