My great aunt died and I'm heading to her funeral so I will miss day one of the draft. The least I can do is start the official thread. I hope when I get back I find that we have either a linebacker or cornerback in the fold. Have fun guys and gals.:thumb:

My condolences.

My aunt has cancer and 4 months to 2 years to live.

I laid it out: you're going to heaven, the closest I'll get is a Chief's superbowl. You're living 3 years...

I hate funerals, sorry for your loss.

I think we need an OLB real bad in the first but who is worthy at 15? Not convinced any are so I'd take one of the CB's or DE's.

You're kidding right? I watched a lot of Auburn games since they're in the SEC and Ronnie Brown is much better than Cadillac. Cadillac gets a lot of hype because of his speed. He is fast. But Cadillac is not very powerful and does not have great hands. Brown is fast, has moves, breaks tackles, and has excellent hands. I think Cadillac is more suited to be a 3rd down change of pace back in the NFL where Ronnie Brown is a 20-25 carries a game, franchise back.

I was certainly surprised, they've been saying they want the most talented player, but took need instead.

Smart, but....not what they've been saying
Yeah, but all teams blow smoke pre-draft. I'm sure they considered going BAA, but Brown justs fits to well to walk away from. Without trading down, there really was no smarter option.

Any segments with Trent yet?

You're kidding right? I watched a lot of Auburn games since they're in the SEC and Ronnie Brown is much better than Cadillac. Cadillac gets a lot of hype because of his speed. He is fast. But Cadillac is not very powerful and does not have great hands. Brown is fast, has moves, breaks tackles, and has excellent hands. I think Cadillac is more suited to be a 3rd down change of pace back in the NFL where Ronnie Brown is a 20-25 carries a game, franchise back.

They mentioned he wasn't that great a blocker, but that's something tha-....hey, Suzie-Q does look kinda' yummie today... :)
