You're Dick, and Carl is asking you whether you want to make the trade for Surtain. You consult your psychic and know exactly who will be available. Who do you take?

Brandon Browner.

I like Roth. I'm a Hawkeye homer.

I chose Surtain.

Clarett is tempting, but Surtain looks great in that #23 jersey.

If we hadn't made the trade, I would've been happy with Roth, and would've liked Thurman other than maybe already getting an LB in the first. Surtain was definitely our best pick, though.

Also take into consideration that if we hadn't traded for Surtain, we might've missed out on Grigsby, when we moved up in the 5th.

Roth is the only one on that list that made me even think twice. In our situation though, gotta go with Surtain.

Looking at that list makes me even happier about the Surtain trade. I like Roth but I suspect he will be one of those good college players that doesnt do much at the next level.

Surtain without any reservation for me.

Every year there is always at least one player from Iowa or Iowa St. that gets pimped by Chiefsplanet members as the second coming.

I have yet to see one succeed.

Surtain, without a shadow of a doubt.

Answering the poll today, gotta go with Surtain. I'm pretty sure I'd answer the same a few years down the line, but only time will tell.

Yep, definitely Surtain. I'd have liked to have had a few of the guys on that list, but none of them would have made near the impact that Surtain will -- especially THIS year.

I voted for Surtain.

If he fails, may he forever be known as Surtaint.

40 votes, and Surtain gets 39 of them.

Who were all the people that said it wasn't worth a second?

I didn't even look at the other choices before voting for Surtain. In my mind, no-one helps this defense more than Patrick, and that includes our #1 pick.

Surtain,no question.
