Laughs are sought in a comedy about a single woman who has a child through a sperm donor on the WB. This doesn't strike me as high hilarity, but with the production team of Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, this could potentially be another offbeat comedy in the style of Arrested Development. (For those who've been wondering, the show has been picked up for a third season).

Maybe this is true I mean it's on the web so it has to be, right?

A free weekly newspaper in Austin? That's not exactly "directly tapped into the source," is it?

To me, this is like saying "____ is close to signing with the Chiefs." I'm not believing it until it's official.

I saw an interview with Howard the other day and they've apparently been talking to BOTH HBO and Comedy Central.

The show WILL have a home, even if it's not on Fox.

Michael - Get rid of 'The Seaward,' Gob.
Lucille - I'm not going anywhere.

Oscar - Maybe I'll put it in her brownie.

Good Times.

TWoP gets the 411 and brings us back to earth.
This is what I e-mailed the author of that Austin Chronicle article who mentioned that AD had been renewed for a third season:

Hi,

In your recent Austin Chronicle article, you reported that Arrested
Development had been renewed for a third season. Could I perhaps
ask where you got this information, as the fate of the show still
seems up in the air according to all the official channels?

Thank you,

And here is her answer:

Hi.

I *thought* I saw it in a Fox press release. Since I can't find the
release, and I, too can not confirm through official channels, I've
offered a retraction in my upcoming column.

Best,

Beliinda Acosta

Fox really ought to lock that down.

That outta be a tagline for a save "Arrested Development" campaign

"Fox, you gotta lock that down"

Look what happened when they cancelled Family Guy.
