I can't wait for this game. They've taken the old NFL Blitz, hired the writers from the ESPN series "Playmakers" and created a truly unique-looking game.

OMG...I just threw up in my mouth.

Midway couldn't make a good football game if their life depended on it. And for people who think Blitz is good, I can tell you a surefire way to beat it is let yourself get kicked until about 2 minutes left, then te computer will let you win.

If the puke is in my mouth, do I spit it out, or do I just swallow it back down? UUUUUHHHHHG!

They "get it," but I won't get it.

I just want TakeTwo and VC to go in this sort of direction with 2K. The "gritty realism" direction, I mean, not the Midway-style football game direction.

Too bad it won't be for PC.

I imagine it will be alot of fun off the field...but on-the-field it will be shit gameplay.

Madden looks solid this year, but I am afraid that they are looking ahead to 07 for the PS3.

I've never been a fan of Blitz. But the way they're incorporating a story mode into the game sounds kinda interesting. This might be worth a rent.

Hmm, after viewing the footage, it looks like the animations need a lot of work. The arcade style of Blitz has always been a turnoff to me.

That's where I'm coming from. I've never been a big fan of the gameplay itself, but the whole concept sounds really cool.

And you never know, maybe the gameplay will be improved with a new graphics engine.

Exactly.

The sports games are alright, but pretty much ran their gamet unless you like arguing that Kerry Collins didn't deserve a 76 ranking in running ability.
