DJ is a tank. Julian's more catlike.

I'd go with Keith Bulluck.

Derrick Brooks.

DJ himself said that's the player he's most like.

Donnie Edwards.Jesus, I hope not.

Right now LB he most compares to is Kevin Burnett. 'cause, you know, they're rookies. They don't compare to anybody yet.

DJ's physique, athleticism, and his ability to not only make plays sideline to sideline but also make plays from the opponents backfield to the endzone reminds me of the most dominant safety to ever play, Ken Easley from the Seahawks.

I really believe he could be as dominant as Easley was as a 220 lb free safety. Easley closed on the ball and layed the ballcarrier out like DJ and he was always around the ball in coverage. If Easley's kidneys hadn't failed, there's no telling how many defensive player of the year awards he would have won. Ronnie Lott and Rod Woodson speak of him in reverent tones.

It's hard to compare Johnson to a current LB because he basically played a roverback role in college, imo. He'll fill out some in order to carry out the more physically demanding duties of an NFL linebacker. As a 250 lb NFL linebacker, his eventual playing weight I think, I'm hoping for the next Bobby Bell but I may have to settle for former Buffalo Bill, Cornelius Bennett.

Man I can't wait for the season to actually start so the crazy comparisons will stop. Oh wait they will just get worse then.

I honestly hope he is most like himself and people start comparing other players to his talent.

I think he is most like Boomer because we have yet to see either of them play in the NFL.

I have no idea who he compares to, But im almost 100% positive that Gunther got a full blown woody when he heard DJ's named called by the Chiefs last Saturday.

Definately Keith Bullock. They both play extremely quick and are very athletic, and they both make plays from sideline to sideline. Bullock slipped on draft day because of his tackling technique, just like DJ. Bullock perfected his tackling once he got in the pros and is now one of the best LBs in the league, just like DJ will be.

Derrick Brooks.

It's funny, because I've never seen Johnson play, but on hearing the descriptions of him, Brooks was the guy that I would've named.

DJ = Keith Bulluck I would say.

He will probably be better then Bulluck. It wouldnt shock me though if Bulluck left Tennessee that he came to the Chiefs cause of Gunther.

I haven't seen Johnson enough to give my own comparison, but I've heard him being compared to Jessie Armstead
