View Full Version : NFT: Has anyone purchased an acre of the Rainforest?

I'm looking to buy an acre of the Rain Forest for my fiancee to give to her 2nd grade class she's student teaching, but I can't tell what sites are legit and what sites are junk.

Some sites have an acre listed for 20 bucks, but it looks real shady.

Has anyone purchased an acre, and if so, where did you do it? I want a reputable website that's going to give a lot of materials about the acre purchased and a nice certificate to present to the class.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I know it's off-the-wall, but this place is a melting pot of random things.

Thanks in advance...

I don't have any rainforest land, but I do have a bridge I could sell you if you're interested...

I can make a onetime offer on a star I bought several years ago. It can be yours for a paltry $25k.

Boy, this sure sounds like a cheap source of firewood. Maybe I should buy a couple, too.

As a followup to that story, my wife told me the other day that the bear spots in our lawn are gone now. We've been getting a lot of rain lately, so I guess maybe the bears have gone back up into the mountains to catch salmon or something.

You sure they didn't come down for an interview?

It's all about the presentation. I know these things are a scam, but the principal of the school she's teaching at would eat something up like this.

And you have to kiss a lot of ass to get a teaching job in that district and I think this could really help her.

I should of known to expect sarcasm.

I'd gladly sell you an acre of rain forest; I'll even give you a location, an adoptive tribe, and an "official" looking certificate...only $50 bucks.

Hurry, it's a limited time offer only. :)

Haha, thank you for the support.

We aren't married yet, but she works her ass off and she's not even getting paid for it yet.

But, I figured I would get sarcasm. I've been around long enough to know how this place works.

Laz,

Thank you very much for the link.

I'll sell you this for $110. It's beautiful, isn't it?

For $95 more, I'll sent you a quart of stream water. Then you could say you have some of the water out of the stream if you wanted to.

For the 3rd time, I could give a shit about the actual land. It's the presentation aspect of it. If the site will give me a nice certificate to present to the class and some materials then I'm fine with it.

If I have to spend 50 bucks to ensure that she will get the job she wants in that district, then it's a wise investment.

I thought about that, but a couple of the teachers in the school are rain forest freaks and if the authenticity was ever questioned my fiancee would look like a fraud.

I really don't care about the dough. I care about getting her a job because with freelance writing come zero benefits. The benefits package just passed at the district is top notch and I wouldn't have to worry abotu it benefits when we get married.
